Hi all,
Changes I’m making aren’t reflecting in the “Staging preview”.
I just closed and re-opened my browser and no changes have been saved.
@CH_Team are there changes happening that may impact this?
Thanks!

I’m sorry you’re facing this!
Please submit a ticket with the information; we’d be happy to look it over. A new ticket allows us to track the issue’s progress and escalate it to the developers if required. You can submit a new ticket here: Adalo | Support Ticket.
I appreciate your cooperation!
Hey
Just added on to something said by another user who is having problems with the “connecting to servers” issue. I’m also experiencing the same, as well as changes made in the builder not reflecting in the app and the page either being unresponsive and thereafter leading to the “Aw, Snap” screen “Out of memory.”
I submitted a ticket two days ago (ticket #3789426120) and was basically told that the issue is on my side and I should delete my browser history and cache, which I did and still no satisfaction. I am still awaiting a reply with the question I asked regarding the Adalo status page that shows Adalo uptime and downtime and the fact that there has been a whole lot more red bars than green over the past 6 days or so.
Thanks for the info. We have been able to duplicate the behavior and have escalated it to our team to provide a fix.
@CH_Team the same thing happens to me.
Thanks @KayC and @Fercho for confirming I’m not alone.
@CH_Team I’ve raised several bugs recently with no response to the status of them. Raising a ticket may help internally (which is great) but it doesn’t help me as a customer. I find this forum much more responsive and transparent (especially the speed in which your team responds here, which I really appreciate) - it would be great if the ticketing system can be transparent to all, and searchable. I believe it would help both the internal team and customers.
Thanks!
Same here
This should be good now. You may need to close out of your tab and reopen your app.
Sorry for the inconvenience!
I did that and just lost my last 2 HOURS of work!
I can’t even track where it stopped saving my edits. This is a nightmare.
This is one of the worst things that has happened to me in 4 years as an Adalo maker. This is totally unacceptable! I didn’t even have the sign of “unable to connect to servers”. Everything seemed fine!
I was working on quite a complex flow that I had been working on for some days, and finally got it right, only to loose everything.
Thanks for the updates and I’m sorry for the issue! Our team will continue to look into it and resolve this!
Would you mind testing your app now?
It seems to be working normally again for me - thank you!
Also seems to be working now. App changes in the builder are reflecting in my app. Although the “can’t connect to server” banner is still popping up from time to time.
Thanks for the speedy resolution.
It’s crazy… the whole morning of work wasted… everything I did was not saved, now the actions don’t work and I have to do it again… these things are unacceptable
All on here, any data loss you received today is entirely my fault–my direction to our team has been to prioritise long-term fixes to deliver the app speed and performance that is our number one issue. While our engineering team are treading as carefully as they can, they are doing many concurrent things to bring performance improvements. Much of the work they are doing is difficult due to documentation or monitoring black holes–holes we are plugging.
We are under a code freeze now for the break, and we are almost through all of the updates. While I’m starting my own break with my kids and my wife in a cabin, I’m happy to get on a call with anyone that is feeling aggrieved. Email me at james.crennan@adalo.com and we’ll organise a time (my internet will be sketchy).
@afonso I’m sorry for your experience. If it is any consolation, we almost finished taking the steps to give you the data stability you deserve.
James
I’m all in favor of those improvements, but Adalo can’t stop saving changes in the editor without warning. When the “can’t connect to servers” signed didn’t appear, I didn’t have any reason to assume it wasn’t saving. I had 2 client meetings this week to show updates to their platforms. It could’ve been very embarrassing.
