Has anyone discovered a fix to the frantic reverse scrolling issue with group chats/messaging screens? When you load the messaging screen, it scrolls from the top down and jumps all over the place. I’ve searched the forums and plenty of people have posted about their experience with the issue, but not solutions have been offered. Any help?
This is probably due to ‘load items as users scrolls’-setting being turned on for the list.
This just doesn’t work (yet) for reverse scroll screens. It will load the first created messages first, not the last and will keep loading them untill it gets to the ‘end’. Hence the jumping around.

In the Registry Editor, go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Elantech\SmartPad.
Two keys under this directory are SC_Reverse_Enable and SC_Reverse_ShowItem. Double click on them and change their values from 0 to 1.
Making SC_Reverse_Enable 1 inverts the scroll direction, whereas making SC_Reverse_ShowItem 1 shows this option in the GUI menu under Control Panel → Mouse → ELAN → Options.
