Collections disappeared

I have been working on my app all day and all of the sudden the collections disappeared and now, I can’t even login to Adalo. Is anyone else experiencing this?

yes! i can’t login to my account; i can’t access any of my apps on custom domains. it says “app not found”.

Same. I thought I had been hacked but if this is happening to you too, then it must be an Adalo issue. I have users who are messaging me saying they can’t access any of the content :frowning:

Nothing is working. My app, building app page, it’s hard to even login to adalo.

same here, no collections are loading :frowning:

These are events that happen regularly in Adalo.

Every time I send a support ticket to Adalo, I get the response “this will not happen in the future”.

However, this problem has never been fixed and it will happen again.

Yes no collections and my platform and mobile app show “App not found”. No mail from adalo to warn us. It’s my users that came to say how much they were upset. Very disappointed, they could atleast put another error message, it is not very professionnal… Sorry for my english, hope it will be better soon

This is a phenomenon that you have to accept if you want to use Adalo.

Every time Adalo goes down, users receive complaints, 1 star reviews in the app store, and the reputation of the app goes down.

I have experienced this many times and have received complaints from users during this downtime as well.

I wonder, is this global or Europe? Could the servers be backing up based on US time, taking them offline? Either way, that shouldn’t be the case. I had a big marketing push yesterday, so was hoping for a few downloads this morning. That’s turned out well :frowning:

Isn’t it frustrating? How do u manage it? Isn’t it possible to ask adalo to change this error message? I made a big marketing this week and today, subscribers trying to join my app think I’m a scam, it’s very frustrating

I can’t load, everything is frozen!

Hi all–apologies for this. Our engineers were doing a Redis rollback and hit a snag. This is in efforts to modernize the Adalo system and speed up our infrastructure. The fix will be in shortly. I apologize again if anyone has lost progress, and we absolutely need to do a better job of providing a warning about engineering updates that may affect usability for a period of time.

I’ll update again when the current outage is fixed.

If you use Adalo, this is a phenomenon you must accept.

If you never want to have a server down, you should not use Adalo.

I have been using Adalo for about 4 years and this is my advice.

Sorry, can i know it normally takes how long time to solve this problem because I have an assignment need to submit today

RM08666 we are fixing the entire Adalo stack that it has been running on the same infrastructure since inception–the database overhaul we did at the end of last year was a massive lift, and solved a significant amount of stability that had been affecting Adalo makers for years.

This current downtime is associated with deliberate improvements we are doing by switching away from older services. Unfortunately, a snag was hit and our team are rectifying (@gjh it should be back up shortly), and while we do our best to ensure we don’t affect the company-wide system, these improvements are needed if we’re do deliver you fast apps.

Please don’t lump this in with the historical trend of downtime Adalo went through.

@james.crennan
It is a mystery to me how Adalo can take such a bullish attitude toward me, who pays Adalo’s fees, when it is Adalo that is actually causing the server downtime.

For my users it is the same server down and it does not change the fact that I cannot use the app.

That is completely fair @RM08666.
