Hello,
I see that :
- On the Adalo preview of the mobile app, there is a display,
- When i publish it on Iphone, there is another display,
- When i publish that on Android, there is another display,
- And when i see people with different phones, the display is also different…
So… to have a display professionnal and not only a draft display, how you do to know that the display on all devices is good ?
(I don’t want to promote the mobile app if my customer see a draft display that they are not supposed to see… it will impact the picture of my brand…)
Hi
Preview & iPhone displays are similar. Android is a little different. The text is larger & the items are spaced out a little. This is my experience…you have to tweak your screens to get the look that you want. I dont think its possible to get the same display on all phones..the screen size is another issue.
In short…somethings you need to live with…as long as all the screen elements are there and work well, you should count it as a success. Maybe you can share some screen shots of a screen on a few phones so that the Forum members can see if there really is an issue
Best Regards
Jay
Hello,
(in the next part of my message, what’s displayed on the screenshot, you haven’t need to understand the language of what’s written, you just need to compare the global display and see that all is not to the same area than it should be…)
Preview & Iphone are sometimes NOT similar. See the difference between the both :
Preview :
And Iphone :
Yes, i agree with you that i have to adapt a little bit the screen size for that globally, the result is almost similar. But on what i’m talking, there is huge differences that i can’t explain…
As other example between the Iphone version and the Android version that i noticed is :
Iphone :
Android :
If someone have an idea of what happen… or a tips to avoid that… I take it !
And thank you eduscvs for your answer
You can change the settings to stay fix, that might help.
You can also play with creating groups, that sometimes helps.
Note that a box is not above a box, I think that might cause this
Thank you for your tips
about the box, you just said me something like “to no forgot” or you really have seen on my screenshots that a box can be above another box? If you have seen that, can you show me where please?
Hi,
Yes, display differences across devices are common. To ensure a professional look on all screens, you should test the app on multiple real devices (iOS and Android, different sizes), use Adalo’s responsive design tools carefully, and consider using tools like BrowserStack or TestFlight for broader testing. That way, you can catch layout issues before publishing.
Hello @Kate9898,
Thank you for your feedback,
BrowserStack is like TestFlight but for Android ?
