Favorite/Like system but with only one selection

Hi. I´m trying to create a favorite sistem to choose the player of a match. I have the users collection, the matches collection and a multiple-multiple relationship between them. The problem is that i don´t know how to set that one user only can vote for only one player. I need a little help.
