Help with Google Maps

Good evening, I am new to Adalo and I found this forum. Im trying to build an app on my own. I have zero coding experience and going out and hiring a software engineer to develop my app would be more than I can afford.

For context, I’m trying to build an app to find my boat ramp. I’m wanting to start in my area of Florida and eventually expand out nationwide.

When a user opens the open they will see pins of nearby boat ramps so when a user clicks on the pin it will take them to a “ramp details page”. They can then click a button to get directions there or go back and click on a different pin for a different boat ramp.

I’ve had ChatGPT help me some with wireframes and even made me a screenshot of what I’m trying to accomplish.

Hi @Robjohn1273,

Welcome to the forum!
Creating app in Adalo is way easier than coding the app. However, you still need to learn how to build an app.
Google maps are present in Adalo and you can use them: https://help.adalo.com/component-basics/marketplace-components/maps.
This component can display pins (and by clicking the pin you can go to another screen with pin details). However you can’t build the route inside this component. You may start navigation using this tutorial: Start Maps Navigation in Your Adalo Apps Using Google Maps, Apple Maps, or Waze | Adalo Resources.

Best regards, Victor.
