For starters, watch that video, hit follow if you’re on TikTok, then come back here. I promise it’s relevant to this post lol.
For every app, the answer is going to be different. The time it takes to make a mobile app can vary depending on the complexity and features of the app. A simple app could take a couple of days to create, while a more complex app could take months or even years to develop. There is no definitive answer for how long it takes to make a mobile app. It all depends on the individual app and the developer that is working on it.
When trying to estimate how long it will take to develop a mobile app, it is important to consider all aspects of the project. This includes everything from the initial planning stages to the final testing and launch. The more complex the app, the longer it will generally take to create. There are a number of factors that can impact the timeline of a mobile app development project. These include:
-
The size and scope of the project
-
The number of features and functionality included
-
The level of complexity and customization
-
The experience of the developer(s)
-
The availability of resources (including budget)
-
The schedule and timeline of the project
All of these factors will play a role in determining how long it takes to develop a mobile app. The best way to get an accurate estimate is to start building features for yourself within the app and take note of how long each task takes.
Then, prioritize the features you want to include in your app. This will help you scope the project and determine which features are most important and which can be excluded from the initial launch/MVP. Once you have a list of features prioritized, you can start to estimate how long the project will take as a whole.
Allocate a little bit of extra time for squishing bugs and doing final testing before you launch the app. Nothing is more frustrating than finding a critical bug after you’ve already launched!
If this is your first couple of weeks using Adalo, it may be worth diving into the numerous YouTube videos, learning in the app academy, and/or reaching out to Adalo experts for guidance.
Keep in mind that the more apps you build, the easier it will be for you to estimate time frames for future projects.
So… How long does it take YOU to make an app?
