How to filter list options with Xano backend?

Hi Adalo Community,

Now that I have moved my database to Xano, I can’t figure out how to bind the data correctly. The method for binding seems to function differently and I can’t find a tutorial that explains how to use this new functionality.

For example this list should be a list of Content > Logged In User > Watchlist. There is a Content table, a Watchlist table, and a User table.

Please help or point me towards a tutorial/documentation.

PS. All of the API endpoints have been set up and tested in Xano. I just don’t know where/how to use those endpoints to connect the data to the Adalo lists.

Thanks Adalo Community!!

Filter the list on xano to watchlist user id = auth id, and pass content id as query parameter and filter by that too

Thank you! I’ll give that a shot. I appreciate the response

@xano or @Michael_Xano would you please link a tutorial for how to do this, if one exists.

If one doesn’t exist, then is there a way to only set up the User table (with login info) in Xano. And then set up the rest of the tables in Adalo. If that would work, I could hire someone to duplicate the records and run the full migration later.

Thanks for the help!

Hi Jordan, if you wanted to book a consultation i can teach you the best way to set it all up. I imagine you’ll be good to do everything yourself after that. At some point I will probably create some tutorials for YouTube but been very busy.
