How to test notifications in PWA before publishing to store?

Hello,

I want to test the notifications feature in Web App/PWA (because it is critical for the app I have in mind and want to make sure it works well before building the whole app and publishing it the stores).

I am following the instructions, but can’t make it work.

  1. Does it work in “Web App” ? Because Request Notification Permission in Your App | Adalo Resources only has instructions for “PWA”, for which I followed Publishing to the Web (Legacy Apps) | Adalo Resources. After upgrading to Adalo Pro, I could successfully set up the custom domain, but when publishing, for step 9), I don’t see the option “Progressive web app”. Is this now “Show desktop users” = “Mobile App Preview” ?

  2. Is there a template app with notifications working in web app / PWA, where I could learn from, or other ressources ?
