Hi @mikel1,
What have you tried so far from the above posts suggestions? Would you be able to share a screen recording showing your setup along with the preview of the app? Have you submitted a support ticket already?
Thank you and have a great day!
I’ve but to my permissions everyone Can update creat view chat user ID the name of my collection
Hey @mikel1, permissions in Adalo can be tricky. Even if they’re set to create/update/view, the issue usually comes from how the Chat collection is linked to Users. Double-check that the relationship is set up properly and that your screen is pulling from that relationship, not just the collection itself.
I’ve had to troubleshoot this kind of setup quite a few times, if you’d like, you can DM me and I’ll walk you through the fix.
Hi @mikel1,
Thanks for the update!
If permissions are all set nicely, would you be able to share some screenshots of the button actions from the Adalo editor, and also check & let me know if the current user data is available in the latest attached screenshot’s screen?
Also, are you properly logged into the app? : Go to Profile screen in your app > Logout (if your app doesn’t have a profile screen yet, just link a button to a new screen > add a text component in that screen > map logged in user’s email from magic text > add a button in that screen > add the logout action into the button which can be found in More… → User Login → Log Out > add a link action into the button to go to the login screen) > Login back and re-test with the same process as before to check if the issue is still there.
Thank you and have a great day!
Where and please show me how to fix it daniel
Sure @mikel1, I’ll break it down step by step:
-
Go to your Chat collection and check the relationship ,it should be linked to Users (for example: ‘Chat belongs to User’ or ‘Chat has many Users’ depending on your setup.
-
On the screen where you’re displaying Chats, make sure the list or components are pulling data from that relationship, not just the Chat collection itself.
-
For testing, try creating a new chat while logged in as a user then confirm the Chat record shows the User ID attached.
If any of these steps don’t line up, that’s likely where the issue is.
Dilon i go to you to my app for fix the problème
