I want to create a custom action that allows users to search a book from google api integration

i want the user to type in their book name and or author in the search input then when users click the “search button” which links to a custom action “google books api” to integrate search results based on what the user put for the book. However everytime i test the custom action it works but the wrong book keeps coming up. can someone help please

i want the search results to connect to this list. I created a new collection named search results with properities including text for the book title and author. and image for the book thumbnail.

everyime i input the book the results are incorrect
