💡 Idea Generation | Help Me Choose an Idea for My Next Adalo Component!

Alright, now I know it’s really needed. :joy:

Btw, I don’t like to self promote, but there’s a cash app link on my profile.

Keep an eye out, can donate when I get home later tonight. Huge win for the Adalo community if you can solve this.

Thanks so much.

You don’t have to actually donate, only if you genuinely want to support me

I understand and I know no promises, I’m happy to support people who support the platform. Everyone wins.

Unfortunately, it looks like the multi-image picker component won’t be able to be completed due to unprecedented circumstances. When trying to add the images to the database after they were selected, I got blocked. After that, I asked an Adalo engineer and he told me that what you’re trying to do is not permitted.

We’re just going to have to wait till Adalo releases this feature natively (hopefully in the near future :crossed_fingers:)

Sorry everyone for letting you down and I really hope that this didn’t make a big impact.

On the bright side, I’m going to start working on a component called Conditional Text, which @axme and @devrimdmk had the idea of and was in the lead 2nd to be worked on.

Hopefully the development of this component is way faster and I promise that nothing will go wrong. :grinning:

Thanks,
James

Such a bummer. I’m investing this weekend learning Flutterflow at this point and will decide where I end up with my project. I really am a fan of Adalo but there’s too many gaps in the product that make many things difficult.

What if… you build a multi picker that hosts the images on another service and just adds the URLs into Adalos database? Would that be a workaround?

Actually - I could probably do that. Let me check on it.

Did it work?

Currently Adalo components are not working - it won’t let me update anything. I’m in contact with Adalo to try to resolve this.
