Is Adalo really serious with its cancellation process?

I just had to submit a “report a bug” ticket to somehow get to the Adalo support. And I ask myself (and you), is Adalo really serious with the cancellation process and policies??

Find below the issues I have with our account which was purposefully created for our valuable client who is now unable to use the apps within the subscription we have paid for :down_arrow:

If there is anyone from Adalo actually taking care of your customers, please get in touch with me immediately. We need to get this resolved ASAP!!!

are you really serious???!!!
We just paid you 250 USD 3 days ago which makes our subscription valid until September 9. I cancelled the subscription today and you confirmed in the super annoying cancellation process that my subscription is valid until the end of the billing period which is Aug 10 - Sep 9. And now you blocked features like publishing an app? Are freaking serious??
First, you make it super annoying to even cancel your services. Second, you make it super hard to get a contact to you (which is why I need to “report a bug” while I have an issue with your manipulative behavior). Third, you block the features for all our apps in the account which we paid for.
I request immediately to renew all features which we paid for and make them available for all our apps until September 9, 2025.
We are a no/low-code agency and we have been developing apps for our clients for years. Yet, we have never met such misleading behavior from any other platform! On top of the feature renewal, we also request to get our subscription fee back because you stopped our apps which serve to our valuable client and his teams. They are working with some apps these days and will continue to do so next week.

@Gabrial @Victor could you please help me? This is really serious. My client just told me that APIs stopped working and I see that we don’t even have Custom actions available. Our account seems to be completely moved to Free aubscription although we paid for Business!! I am really frustrated and it could cost us the most valuable client we currently have. Thank you

I understand your frustration but your anger is directed on the wrong person.

Adalo Community Leaders (like myself) are volunteers who share their experiences and help other Makers.
We do not work for Adalo and we are not being paid for our forum activities.

Therefore, unfortunately I am not able to help with the issue you have. I would recommend contacting Adalo via usual support channels, as you already did.
Tagging @CH_Team, maybe they can help with this issue.

Yes, this is correct. The plan is active till 9th Sept, and it will downgrade to the free plan on 9/9/25.

One more thing—could you please review and improve the cancellation process and policies so that this kind of highly inconvenient situation doesn’t happen to other users? I’ve tried dozens of platforms and have never encountered such difficulties when canceling a subscription. I believe this reflects poorly on Adalo’s reputation.
