Message button (list) not showing up after creating a new conversatione

I am having a similar problem as the one in this thread above. My message button will create a conversation but the new conversation will not show up in the list of messages… The list of messages currently works fine with the current conversations. I do not know what I did or what happened to cause it to not work anymore. It is very frustrating. I have spent two days trying to figure this out. Please help. Thank you. See screenshots.

I fixed it. I’m not really sure how. lol. I think I re did the buttons.
