Pragmaflow QR scanner won't use rear camera

@TKOTC I’m using Pragmaflow’s QR Code Scanner on my PWA (on iphone 12).

No matter which camera I choose in the settings, the component always uses the front camera.

Is there any way to force it to use the rear camera?

This is really a problem when I’m trying to scan QR codes on ID cards.

I love the component. Please help!

No, I haven’t been able to solve this yet. As far as I can tell, everything is set up correctly. There is a toggle to let you choose front or rear camera, but it doesn’t seem to change anything.

This component is built in a way that when you are on web you can only use the front camera

So, does this also include a PWA?

I intend for this particular app to be used only by a handful of company employees, so I never planned to make it a formal mobile app. Without being able to use the rear camera, the function is useless to us.

Is this a simple programming issue that can be changed? Or is there some kind of uncorrectable limitation? Seems odd that it can access one camera but not the other.
