QR Code Scanner Causing Build Errors

Is anyone else having build errors due to the qr code scanner? I was using the QR/BarCode Scanner PRO from intellbits with no issues, then received an error when I attempted to publish a new build that had nothing to do with the scanner. To be sure it was the qr code scanner, I removed it and was able to publish builds with no issues. So I paid $35 for QR/BarCode Scanner PRO from NoCode Monkey hoping the issue was the component and got the same error.

I’m going to have to implement a manual check-in process for now as the client needs the app to function, but that is so archaic.

Hi @frontoftheline,

Sorry to hear about such issues. Maybe they’re related to React version upgrade?..

I’d recommend contacting component developers directly - when you select the custom component, there should be a “Get Support” button on the left pane, in the bottom.
If they don’t reply - you could escalate via Adalo support. Also I believe they can handle the reimbursements (I’m not sure about the policy though).

Best regards, Victor.

I’ve seen this happen before - sometimes these QR scanner components cause weird build conflicts that aren’t obvious at first. It’s frustrating because you pay for something expecting it to just work. Manual check-in sounds like a pain but at least it keeps things moving.
