I have notice this is becoming a new style of giving users a quick way to access items in your application. Check out the first image, and then the second one. When a user clicks on one of the tiles it will either expose another menu or you can have it direct to you a selected page. Has anyone built anything like this as well just curious?
This example is used for a companies intranet portal that I have built. The user can click on “my apps” to expose a menu where to can quickly access their “pinned apps” for work.
