The problem: I followed the directions on adalo’s tutorials and I still get an error message: Your custom domain could not be verified. Please check your settings and try again.
Questions:
Is it okay to have the main root domain be used for the app marketing landing page and use a subdomain for the app? Or do we need to buy two separate domains? Right now this is the only thing I can think of that’s preventing us from using that custom domain for the app.
Although I have previously used one domain for the clients product marketing website and then a subdomain for their app, unless something has changed recently.
I did follow the instruction. One question I have is, is it because the main domain is linked to a Wordpresssite hosted on hostinger and the two are fighting, so to speak?
@ChristinaC I can’t guess where is the mistake you’ve made but what I can say now that the domain name app.getrippleapp.com does not exist.
I would recommend checking the domain settings at your hosting provider - I can’t say where as there are no screenshots.
In normal classic setups there should be no any problem when the main domain name is pointing at one address, and the subdomain is pointing at another one.
Adding to say that I have used Squarespace domains to add custom (sub)domain to adalo before, and that app is still live, so I referenced what I did before, but still can’t figure it out,
