Using "Add to Homescreen" to access App

Hi everyone
After building my android file on the Adalo platform, I realized that the size was too big and might deter people from downloading it. However, I noticed I can use the “Add to Homescreen” feature in Chrome to access the app and it looks the same as opening the app when installed on the phone.

I would like to if anyone uses this method and how well it works.

The difference here is between a native app and a PWA (Progressive Web App).

PWA’s are gaining a lot of traction over recent years but there is still a lot of skepticism. There are pros and cons to both sides. Up to you to decide which you feel is better for your users.
