Who publishes the app

Hi I have made an app and I’m wanting to sell it to the company. I have a couple questions.

  1. Who should publish the app in the App Store if I sell it to them, but want to maintain it?
From what I’ve gathered have them create an Adalo account, they create their Google play and apple developer accounts and add me as an admin to that. And they publish it, and I maintain it.
1.(a) what if they don’t wish to publish their own app and want me to do it? What is involved in that? Pros and cons? Especially for the business side of it.

  2. Any changes I make to the database on the app within adalo will automatically update the app in the App Store.
2.(a). But if I change anything to do with the user interaface that requires the app to go through the publishing steps again in the app stores? I’m not clear on this one.

  3. Google maps- should they create their own Google api key or use mine with their billing information.
3.(a) it still doesn’t make a lot of sense to me on how Google does their API charges

  4. Does adalo have plans to make the Google map with markers available offline? And to create a hybrid map where I can overlay images (building locations that are squares and colors for paths) on top of Google map.

Thanks ahead of time!

Hi,

1, they should have their own Google play and appstore accounts,
If you ever have to stop using these services, their apps won’t suffer,

2, Google maps api key should be on their account and their billing infos for the same reasons (at least)

3, I don’t think they are planning on doing this (at all)

Thank you!
Am I right in assuming this part of it?
Any changes I make to the database on the app within adalo will automatically update the app in the App Store without having to mess with apple or Google play.

you’re welcome,

Yes any changes to the database will be seen on the app,
any changes to the UI has to be published again (as a new release for the same app on the stores)
