Hi, I have a silly question, I think. I created a pwa and put the link to the app on my website. My customers can download the app on my website using the QR code and the link. But I can also publish the pwa on my domain. But what’s the difference??? And what is the end result when you put your PWA on your domain. What does the customer get to see? And what is the advantage for me to put the pwa on my domain. Thank you for your answers.
They’ll have access to it on the web. Without having to download it. If you have a web version or tablet version they will also be able to use on a computer or tablet all without Downloading the app itself
I’m guess it all balls down to what your app does and how your clients/user will use it.
Hello Jacob_Lange, yes, but when they click on the link on my website it is the same. They can use it on a tablet to !!! What is the difference between a link and to publish it on my domain?
@Rinus well, instead of going to https://previewer.adalo.com/long-app-id-with-lots-of-letters-and-numbers, which doesn’t look nice, they can go to https://app.yourdomain.com which looks more professional.
Keep in mind that not everyone might have a “main” website where they can put a link to the PWA.
Best regards, Victor.
