If I’m not mistaken, you can only update a field in a database (collection) record if you have a new value. If I use the Update action, and I leave a field empty, it assumes there is no update. But instead, I want to blow away the value that’s there and save it as empty/blank.
Adalo provides no way to do exactly this. But there is a workaround that appears to have worked. I drilled into
Magic Text > Date & Time
then choose “none”
It will replace the text in that field with an empty string (blank, empty, nothing, etc)
Hopefully, Adalo provides a proper way to do this. Until then, try this workaround.
