Need to clear a field (not a record)

I’ve got a screen element that displays based on if there is a value in a field of a record. Sometimes I want to “reset” the value to “empty” so that element doesn’t show.

However on the “update record” function there’s “Do nothing” or add a value, but there’s no “Clear field” function.

Any suggestions guys?

On a side note “Do nothing” can’t be reselected once you put in a value in that field- you have to delete the whole action and start from scratch which is a PITA when you have a long update action and you click the wrong field to update.

I’d like to empty a cell within my Adalo user table using the app. The app end user needs to be able to clear record properties to reset the values, but leaving the property blank leaves the value unchanged. The idea is to delete existing data from the cell and make it blank. Finding out how to do this would enable simpler configuration of users’ list filter preferences.

I am fairly familiar with Adalo. I know how to use actions to update records. I don’t see an action, however, to allow a user to delete an image for a record. Is this possible?
