Google Play Console - How to fix my Android apps

I have two apps published in Google Play. I got a following messages from Google Play Console. How can I fix them? Thank you for your help!

  1. App must target Android 15 (API level 35) or higher - Fix by Aug 30

  2. App must use Google Play Billing Library version 7.0.0 or later - Fix by Aug 30

I have the same problem.
Hopefully there is a solution.

Hi,

Thanks for reaching out!

We’re aware of Google Play’s upcoming requirements, and both items are already being prioritized:

  1. Target API Level 35 (Android 15):
We’re currently targeting API level 34, and our upcoming React Native upgrade is expected to bump this to API 35. This update is planned to go live within this month. Once available, you’ll simply need to trigger a fresh build and submit it to your Google Play listing before August 30, 2025.
  2. Google Play Billing Library 7.0.0 or later:
We are also working on updating the billing library to meet this requirement in time for the same deadline. No immediate action is needed on your end just yet.

We’ll notify you as soon as both updates are live so you can rebuild and republish your apps before the deadline.

Let us know if you have any questions in the meantime!

Thank you so much! I am relieved now

Thank you for this response. I wanted to publish an app this month but I will wait until after this update.
