How to.. Push Notifications

Greetings,

I’ve reviewed several forum topics on the subject of push notifications as well as looked at the Resources for triggering notifications and scheduling notifications but I’m not quite understanding how I should set this up.

I’ve got a set of 6 users of a “leadership” type that should be able to send push notifications to regular users associated with them in the database.

Any help/tips/step my step for what i’m trying to accomplish would be great. Perhaps I’m just over thinking this.

It may also be helpful to me if you can advise how you all are doing push notifications… integrations, etc?

Thanks!

Hey @joshua.ots

The push notifications are pretty simple. Once you have a button and link it to the notification action will will see this;

Here you can add in who its going to send to and what its going to say.

If at the top you select “all users” or something similar related to your “leadership” collection, you can then add a filter.

So you might do the following filter:

SEND TO → USER ->who’s “emails” =/ “logged in users” → “email”

That way the notification will send to every other user expect the one that triggered the push notification

The filter function is going to be your friend here, let me know if you need some more clarification on it.
