How to reset the message text input after message submission?

Hi friends,

how does the message input disappear after submission?

I am currently trying to get the effect by replacing the message with a “space” which is not really elegant.

Help is much appreciated!

This solution was working up until today. Now the field will not clear. Interesting enough when I changed the input to “1” it worked. But when I changed it back to being blank nothing happens.

I noticed that as well. The ‘change input value’ to empty stopped working
