I am working on an app that has an inbox where other users messages will show up. I have it set so that once a user clicks on the message after 10 seconds it adds the message to the users viewed messages. My list is set to only show messages that the user has not viewed.
It is working, but it doesnt seem to update the list unless I logout and then back in. When I push the back button (which I have tried as linking back and also as linking to the home screen where the list is) it just shows the same message that I just viewed.
I dont want users to see it more than once because they earn points for viewing it and I dont want them to get points over and over for the same message.
I have the list setup to auto refresh also.
Does anyone know what to do to get this to work properly? Is it even possible?
