Hi @deetee That’s great!!!
With Admob components?
Yes, Admob works in the Android app. However, we’re still trying to figure out how admob plays in. Adding it back in caused the iOS app to fail. We’re still trying to figure this part out.
Just make a new build and it still crashing.
From my experience, Android 12 has an issue with the AdMob component. Removing it was the solution to use the app with Android 12.
No issues with iOS.
Hi everyone !
Now that I’m back from my holidays, I just realised that my app is acting weird for 3 weeks
I’m still on my MVP with an official release soon (I hope) so now I kinda have a new problem to fix.
So I just read all the messages about this topic because I’m actually facing the exact same issue.
The last build of my app (version 0.0.25) from Aug 12th (the day before my holidays) crashes every time a user try to launch it on Google Play. I know that for fact because I just tried to connect on my girlfriend account with the updated 0.0.25 version and it crashs straight. It doesn’t even try to launch.
Oddly, as the owner of the app, I have access to the app.
Indeed, when I check my version on the app installed on my Google Play account it says that I’m on version 0.0.15 (dating from feb) which is “impossible” because I did ALL the updates between then and now, and I DO HAVE all the new features of the last build version 0.0.25… (this may be about which Android version uses your indicated Google Play version of the app; AGAIN my last version 0.0.25 indicated for me under the version 0.0.15 on Google Play works, but it does not with my internal users who have the 0.0.25 version well indicated).
Anyway, I’ve read all the topic and I’ve decided to try the AdMob Component “solution”.
So I created a new design version of the app, in which I removed ABSOLUTELY ALL the AdMob Components. I’ve built a new version of the app now free from AdMob Components and… IT WORKS !
So for me I can definitely affirm that it is a problem from the AdMob Components based on the version of your build which is itself based on the Android Version used (11 and less vs 12 and more).
So Adalo, thanks to keep us well informed on this topic of a solution to keep all the AdMob Components available on our Apps. (I thinks that there’s no need for every one to open a ticket for that, we know how to come here to finally read your solution to that problem).
Cheers.
@deetee Finally my App can be installed from Google Play normally.
The support solved the Admob issue.
Thanks God after 21 days.
