Thanks for the suggestion! Just to clarify, we don’t have page transition animations enabled in our app, so the sluggish performance we’re experiencing isn’t due to that. we hope you guys find the reason soon. thank you for your help and effort again we really appreciate that.
We wanted to clarify that our web app is noticeably more stable and faster than the published mobile app. We’re not sure why there’s such a difference in performance between the two, but we thought this might give your team some useful hints or ideas on where the issue might be…
The same thing happens in my apps… many times the transition from one screen to the other is not instantaneous, it takes many seconds, many times the lists take a while to load or sometimes do not appear, the visibilities of button conditions also… I have I trust that ADALO is going to improve this, nowadays there are many improvements in the virtual world and I think that ADALO should start improving basic and simple things like speed (not only the United States) but everywhere… I am a fan of adalo and I continue to hope that everything improves
I hope all of these issues are resolved soon and that we can look forward to a future where our apps run smoothly and efficiently on Adalo. I’m confident that with the improvements from Adalo’s side, we will be able to provide a seamless user experience without any of these performance problems. Let’s stay optimistic and supportive as the platform continues to evolve and improve.
Hi Josh,
I hope this message finds you well. It has been 2 days since we last received an update on our case. We are eager to know if there has been any progress or if there are any additional steps we can take from our side.
As you can imagine, the ongoing issues are causing us to lose valuable time and money. Any guidance or updates you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your support and understanding
Unfortunately I don’t have any good updates. We haven’t identified anything else yet.
Hi Josh,
Thank you for your continued support and updates. I truly appreciate the efforts you and your team are putting in to help us.
I wanted to ask, given the ongoing performance issues, does this mean that my project might not be suitable for Adalo? Is Adalo more suited for smaller apps with simpler functionality? I genuinely don’t mean to be negative or rude in any way, I swear. I’m just trying to understand if I can continue working and trying with Adalo, or if my app is too complex for the platform.
I love Adalo and the way it empowers app development, but if larger apps with more features can’t perform well on it, I might need to consider other options. Should I wait for an update or a change that will help me, or should I start looking at other platforms? Once again, I’m asking you as a brother for your honest advice.
Thank you again for all your help.
Your insights and suggestions would be incredibly valuable to us as we navigate this situation.
Hi Josh,
I hoped beyond hope that Adalo would be with us through this journey, helping us overcome the challenges we’ve faced. But it feels like Adalo has given up on us. We are deeply disappointed and disheartened.
We have invested so much—time, money, and emotional energy—into building our dream on Adalo. We believed in this platform, trusted it to be the backbone of our project. But it seems we didn’t get what we paid for. Instead of the support and functionality we expected, we are left with an app that doesn’t perform and no clear path forward.
I thought we were more than just customers; I thought we were part of a family that cared for each other. But now it feels like that was just a dream, a beautiful illusion that has now shattered. We’ve poured our hearts into this, and to see it all crumble is devastating. We should be getting our money back for all the unfulfilled promises and lost potential.
I never imagined it would come to this. I believed in Adalo, believed in its promise and potential. But now, it feels like we’ve been left in the lurch, our hopes dashed. This isn’t just about money or time—it’s about trust, faith, and dreams that have been broken.
Please, understand the gravity of our situation. We need to know if there’s any hope left or if we need to move on. Your advice is invaluable to us, but more than that, we need to know that our efforts and investments have not been in vain.
I’m so sorry that you’ve had a frustrating experience. As I mentioned, my team has been looking into your app specifically and they have made a few improvements in response to issues they’ve found. They are continuing to look but I unfortunately do not have any updates or suggestions for you at this time.
Several of us are trying your latest build and it seems fast at the moment. Are there specific screens you’re seeing issues on right now?
Hi Josh,
Thank you for testing the latest build. While the data fetching from Xano is good, the app frequently freezes and doesn’t respond to actions. This issue is particularly noticeable when navigating back and forth between screens.
We appreciate any further assistance you can provide to help us resolve this.
Can you share a screen recording so I can show it to my engineers?
how can I upload a video in here ?
My app also experiences similar issues with lag and loading, I have kept it to a minimum with nested objects but the nature of our app is increasing items with numerous related collections. We are only at 1200 primary records to search and it takes seconds to load. If I turn on the “lazy” load then my lists don’t filter when I try and search through them. I’ve thought about moving to a different platform as well given these limitations and our plans to only increase the complexity of the app given the demands of our user base.
Is that on WEB/PWA or are you going through app store?
Is there any possibility of switching your marketing and sales strategy to sell you app just as WEB/PWA ? You then also avoid all the future hassle, cost and testing effort going through app stores. As time goes by I think a lot of apps will move to PWA rather than app stores.
