Hi everyone. My app is being rejected by Apple because “the app declares support for audio in the UIBackgroundModes key in your Info.plist but we are unable to locate any features that require persistent audio.” I know from older posts that this has been an issue in the past, but there’s no resolution details. I’m getting no response from Adalo support and so I am at a loss as how to fix it. I followed the Adalo help instructions to toggle the audio component settings (see attached), but this made no difference. Does anyone know why this is happening and what I need to do to fix it within the Adalo tool? Thanks in advance.
Still no response from the Support team. Why is that? I’m seriously losing confidence in the Adalo product now. If anyone has had their app rejected by Apple for the same reason, please let me know if/how you fixed it. Thanks
Finally got my app approved by Apple! The fix was to set the “Autoplay” and “Continue playing on other screens” toggles to on. Not the experience I want in the app, but a small compromise to get it through the approval process. When I submitted it, I explained the expected behaviour and that seemed to do the trick.
A big thank you to dilon_perera (Adalo Community Leader) for his help and support. Thanks Dilon!!
