User filtered list not working

Hi! I’m trying to set up a list where users can filter it with a drop down, as described in this help article: How to make a list your users can filter - Adalo Resources

However, when I try to set up the Custom Filter, I’m not able to select the “Name” field for the collection I selected for the dropdown menu above. The collections are set up with a many to many relationship. Could that be the reason why I’m not able to set up the filter?

Yes, you don’t see Name under Self-Care categories because a self-care idea could have more than one category.

You can choose “All” in that flyout, and then in the comparison dropdown choose “contains”, and then in the last dropdown choose Form Inputs> Select
