I did build a raw app in react-native with react-navigation 5 and this problem does not exist. there are also separate libraries for determining the space the phone needs for the bottom and top. Things like SafeAreaView and react-native-iphone-x-helper are things that adalo should implement.

Hi, I want to add one thing here, OnePlus is facing no. of problems like White Space Problem, Button test dotted issue & responsiveness issue.

Hey just out if curiosity what phone are you using? I run the app the online previewed and it works fine, but when I load it on my Huawei Nova 3 it’s a huge white bar at the bottom.

Hey, I’m facing the same. Almost all of the newer android phones are facing this issue. I’ve tested on OnePlus 8 Pro. Samsung Galaxy S20, a few Huawei’s. Its all the same. Plus some icons other than on the appbar also get misaligned.

I came to the forums to find a workaround however seems like there isn’t any and its pending since Feb 2020 :roll_eyes: . Adalo guys, get this fixed pretty please ? Its killing all the excitement the Adalo platform brings to us.

@anon78309838 is there a workaround or stop gap you’d recommend? in case snapping to the grid doesn’t fix it? Like would building it from scratch be a smart idea for usage across devices?

I’m also having this same problem. On a new Realme X50 Pro with a full screen display my screens are showing too high with an extended space at the bottom and the top bar bleeding into the phone status bar.

Any workarounds? I tried the hidden status suggestion and tab and top bar are locked to bottom and top of screen respectively- didn’t work. Everything looks fine on an old style phone screen- eg iphone 8

Having the same problem here on my app (Xiaomi RedMi 10), sent a ticket to the support, tried using a custom tabbar, but nothing worked so far

You can remove this by disabling status bar in screen, but status bar view also a required option. Hope adalo will fix it soon.
