I’m trying to create new users in Adalo through Make (Integromat), and it’s not working.
I tried both the official Adalo module and also sending an HTTP POST.
Any idea what might be causing this?
Thanks.

Hey @nadavma2,
I replied in your ticket but I wanted to note it here in case makers encountered this issue in the future.
If you make adjustments to the “Email” and “Password” properties, we do not recognize those changes on the back end. While any changes will reflect in the builder and API Docs, they will not be recognized when connecting to the Adalo database and this can cause API Calls to fail or create issues when creating users directly in the app depending on the setup.
It’s important not to make any changes to the Default User Email, Username, and Password as they are handled differently on the Adalo backend that other properties which are created by the Adalo Maker.
Feel free to reply to the ticket if you have any additional questions!

Hi Jessi, thanks a lot for the answer! That solved it.
I would suggest maybe making these fields permanent without the possibility of changing them - this will prevent any problems in the future.
Thanks a lot!
Hi @Jessi.Frye,
+1 to @nadavma2’s suggestion. I can remember a lot of issues caused by some Maker renaming default fields in Users collection (or rearranging them).
Maybe Adalo can just lock these fields?
Best,
Victor.
