Image Scaling Issue

Hi Adalo-crowd,

Hope you’re well and busy with building apps!

Posting here because I encounter an issue with an image on my app’s landing page and hoping someone smarter than myself can help me.

Specifically, there is an image that is set to cover half of the viewport, however, no matter the setting, it does not cover the entire viewport, but it leaves a small scrollable area below the image.

You can see the offending page here: VideoBunny

Someone else who had this issue, and how did you fix it? Or am I making a basic mistake somewhere?

btw, I manually set the size of the screen in the backend to 1920x1080 px, however, even with that setting, it does not cover the entire viewport when using a 1080p screen to view the site.

Thank you for any pointers and stay sharp

I believe that happens because maybe your computer it’s not 1920x1080 its might be bigger.

also if you put it in Stay Fixed this is what gonna happens when another user with smaller computer or bigger will happens

stay tune im pretty sure more people will see this and help you around, but i know dealing with images sizes its tricky.

Thanks mate! It’s really frustrating, as I’m otherwise ready to launch the app, but this placement issue is really bothersome.
Hopefully someone chimes in still.

Hi! I am hoping I may locate this component builder here that hooked me up with a bunch of components for free, and one was an “auto image resizer”, so you don’t have to deal with adalos weird crop/fit stuff. As far as I have experienced, it makes every image the exact size and fit that I need and it’s supposed to be. I forget his name here, but I am sure I can find it.
