Sending verification e-mails to new users

Good day fellow Adalo users,

Hope someone who encountered this can help me.

I tried following Adalo’s official instructions on how to send verification e-mails to new users, however, it seems it’s outdated unfortunately.

I made an account with Integromat (now called Make.com), and also on Sendgrid. However, the template for sending verfication e-mails through Make is gone however, and I only see a few Adalo-related templates that are not fit for this purpose.

I suppose now the only way to do this crucial step is through a custom scenario in Make/Integromat, however, there is no current information from Adalo’s side, which is quite frustrating, given how basic this functionality of sending verification e-mails actually is.

So, long story short, has anyone encountered this and found a way to set up a custom action in Integromat/Make?

Thank you in advance

Hi @matthiastonitz,

Firstly, there is no essential need to use Make for that. You can set up the custom action in Adalo itself. There is a video about integrating Adalo and Sendgrid here: Custom Actions | Adalo Resources.

Also, you can use other providers like Brevo (was called SendInBlue). You can search on the forum using this keyword, there were several threads on the subject, some of them with the instructions on YouTube.

Best,
Victor.
