Today I am finding it difficult to work with Adalo. It goes too slow and constantly hangs. Normally it fails sometimes, but now it is impossible to work on it.
Am I the only one experiencing this problem?

I havent had much of an issue today.
Hey, try shutting your computer down and signing out of Adalo.
If the issue still persists, i’d suggest submitting a ticket and a member of their team should help you out: Submit a Support Ticket
Hi, in my experience, Adalo Builder needs Chrome and a slightly powerful computer to run on nicely.
I would say at least with 8GB RAM and a recent CPU, i tried with a very cheap laptop with 4GB RAM and Celeron 4020 and was impossible to work with Adalo
Hello,
It’s happening TODAY again . Very slow response even with testing applications that have a few records.
This is impacting production applications also.
Hopefully ADALO staff finds it’s root cause to avoid happening again.
the same to me !! i cant work
Same for me… troubleshoot with Sign UP
Hello Eugen…
I have a memory of 64 Gig and twin CPU’s and it wont run any better… and as far as trying to get help, you can forget that as well… I have been waiting since Friday for someone to sort the SSL out and still waiting…
Good Luck

Yes, there seems to be waves of these slow app response times (i.e. performance). I’m not sure if it aligns with server work, but it typically occurs on Mondays.
I understand that there may need to be work done or heightened usage at this time. As a community member and Adalo user, I’d appreciate openness around when these reduced performance times are expected (if they are, in fact, expected that is).
I agree that this is not computer performance related. It’s happening across both the editor with our team and user-base on the frontend.
Same here.
I noticed when slowdown happens wrong data are added to database. I’m getting duplicate records despite that button who creates records has actions to prevent that.
I’m new to Adalo and woriing that it can hapen with finished app. Or its only bug of preview mode?
At the moment, it’s also the user app. To be clear, it’s not normally like this, but it does happen.
There are tricks you can do to make the app run better — though these are often learned after the fact.
Consider limiting actions per button and using external collections like Airtable to host data. Technically a bit harder but adds a lot more to your app’s capability.
Also careful of long lists. This will cause issues.
I’m not sure… Chrome is power hungry and when I work on Adalo with my Gaming Laptop, runs ok and smooth enough. But when I switch with the other cheap laptop I have, is kind of unusable. CPU usage goes 100%.
So I wouldn’t say is only server - related.
Hahaha so irrelevant. My laptop’s performance is 2x better than what you described. Yet, this shit is not working, insanely slow. It’s been like this since 2019. Nothing new.
Absolutely nonsense. If you want to mislead people with your so called “experience” do it. People are not that naive.
Same, I’m having this issue today too. Terribly slow today for working, on the Adalo emulator as well as on Android (I’m doing internal testing). For context, I’m connecting to Airtable for external collections.
Can the Adalo team comment on what the root cause is? And does this happen frequently? I’m on the verge of rolling the app out to users and I can’t have the sign up process (and the rest of the app) be this slow (and buggy, it errors out when it shouldn’t).
Adalo is bringing new stuff these days so something could slow down the editor, but I didn’t find any major issues, working normally on my apps. There have been worse times
Our app with Adalo storage working very slow on production
so you think the issue is people having a not so good laptop ? nothing to do with Adalo ?
You said "I’m not sure… Chrome is power hungry and when I work on Adalo with my Gaming Laptop, runs ok and smooth enough. But when I switch with the other cheap laptop I have, is kind of unusable. CPU usage goes 100%.

Saying everyone today facing the same issue is because they have a slow laptop? If that is the case why they did not have this issue yesterday or a week before ?
“Not server related” - You a joke buddy, get a grip
I agree that performance is not solely server related. And it certainly requires a lot to run Adalo Editor.
The current performance issues seem to be widespread across Adalo users from the editor side as well as their app users. This, I’m saying, is certainly not related to laptop performance alone (that’s a separate issue). Especially considering this very poor performance is also happening on the user app with phones right now.
