When is the line that the app is to big or heavy and I have to use xano ?
I would say if you app has multiple tables with lots of connections, API calls, and calculations then Xano is the way to go. Only a 1/2 dozen or less tables or a small amount of data then stay with the built-in tables.
I am running a food delivery app, 5k users around 50 collections some of them around 20k records, and things are fine for now

Merging to Xano will not be the secret potion that will make your app fast.
If Adalo’s framework is built that way, regardless of what backend you use, you’ll have performance issues.
Using other backend than Adalo, might help a bit regarding backend filtering.
